Since November, the Medissimo Dermatological Centre offers absolute news – Facial resurfacing by fractional CO2 laser. The laser operation is dedicated to all women suffering from marked skin irregularities – it removes pigmented spots (chloasma) and scars on the whole face. During intervention, the upper part of the skin will steam off together with scars and pigmented spots. The fractional laser gently rubs away surface layers of the skin without bleeding. After the intervention the skin only darkens, a brown scurfy creates and then it flunks out and peels off. The intervention lasts approximately one hour. After the intervention the patient goes home. Recommended time of home treatment is 7 – 10 days. Ideal time for facial resurfacing is winter season – the intervention should be passed until April. The facial resurfacing has a positive anti-aging side effect – it repeatedly starts a collagen production in fibroblasts (the collagen production stops in the human body after 25 years of age). After the resurfacing the face is firm again, without surface wrinkles and brown pigmentation, irregularities and it looks younger in general.
